State mission

Healthcare in
Russia and around the world is undergoing dramatic changes. Innovations
in treatment and in organisation of health services set forth questions
of great complexity as regards to both medical education and research.
Our concern is to keep abreast of the time, to meet with increasing
public needs and demands, and to maintain high quality medical education
and research. The new medical doctor should bear responsibility for the
physical, mental and social well-being of people.
He should be
competent to work systematically in medical problem-solving
and in medical decision making taking into account ethical aspects. He
should possess scientific knowledge, practical and scientific experience,
and independent and critical attitude. And most important he has to be
able to adapt his knowledge, skills and attitudes to the changing health
care.
